ABOUT US


Pear Tree Cafe was opened in 2016 by two chefs - Annabel Partridge and Will Burrett - next to an idyllic, picturesque lake inside Battersea Park.

Annabel and Will met while working with Skye Gyngell at Petersham Nurseries. They went on to work in some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, including Spring Restaurant at Somerset House (which they helped to open) and Chez Panisse in California.  

Pear Tree Cafe quickly built a fantastic reputation in Battersea Park, and in 2021 we took over the old cafe space on Clapham Common, followed by our third cafe in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, which we opened in 2024.

Will left the team in 2024, but Annabel continues to run the three cafes, under her strong management and clear vision.

The cafes are open from dawn till dusk every day, offering thoughtfully crafted cafe-style dishes, bringing a fresh, seasonal and innovative approach to London’s cafe scene.
